The article suggests that the main ideas of the founder of the Russian theory of bibliography O.P. Korshunov (1926–2013) are now in oblivion. GOST ‘Bibliography. Bibliographic resources. Terms and definitions’ in the main positions unreasonably departed from the fundamental foundations of bibliography laid by O.P. Korshunov.

Abstract

Quantitative indicators of book publishing in Siberia and the Far East at the end of the 18–19th centuries were calculated and analyzed in general, for individual cities of the region and printing houses. The theme of the publishing repertoire has been reconstructed. A list of published authors has been compiled. Examples of circulations are presented. The main trends in the development of regional book have been identified.
